Overkilling Poem by sholadoye Dada

Overkilling

I met you at the crossroad
A didn’t hear when traffic said go
You arrested me on that day
On a sunny day
The day I should never have seen you

You got me into pieces
That day you entered into me
You’re in my very soul, tormenting me
Each time I set eye on you
I feel pain, it’s you torturing me

I’ve being dying bit-by-bit
I’m in agony
The closer I get to you, I can’t breathe
Living in bondage, in captivity/agony
I’ve stopped being afraid of death

Now that I am about to die
That the damage you’ve done is killing me
If you feel hurt and tormented as me
Please, don’t just look into my eye
Tell me!
