Country fell but mountains and rivers as before
When the spring came, the city in a wild profusion of vegetation
Flowers splashed tears in sorrow
Birds startled with the feeling of separation
For three months has continued flames of war
Very precious, letters from my home
Combed my white hair just knew it’s thinner and shorter than before
Couldn’t put the hairpin in it at all
