Pages Poem by Chester Maynes

Pages

I count a page
A one and to a million
Endless nights, less sleep
I take a leap out of control
My mind is shaking
I am misbehaving
These cruel barricades
They part us in miles
I see the hatred
I feel the apathy
This cruel calamity
This bitter remedy
All written in many pages
All kept in thousand ages
