the desert
the desert
has no roads
only destinations
as many destinations
as there are grains
of sand in the hands
of time drift shadows
shadows shape shade past lives
shadows whisper sand sings
whisper wind grain sands
sparkle dark sky sea desert stars
sail ships shadows of dawn sunset desert
silent over sand dunes stately time walks
sea wave rhythm camel legs long soft strides
eat up desert sand shimmer mirage distances
lives long rivers sand shift swept lives
flow across seamless ocean desert sands
breath stars cross circle map life sky journeys
burn bright ethereal flame passion life stars
still desert sands map past lives
star light maps moon ebb flow night lives
write ink finger nail sun dawn maps
write ink finger nail sun dusk maps
the desert sand is a mistress of time
a child is a sown seed of organic survivals
a wife is birth mother of gene opportunities
breath of life blood whispers mist time

The desert, the desert the stacking sand beads, the crystal grains We might lost as we try to trace the footprint As the wind from north to south, east to west erase the path...like time erase some moment of past from present painting a desert shifting timeless portrait we are travelers in the sea of familiar scene yet unfamiliar reality Till oasis grow the tree the fate will start to tell thee..
shadows shape shade past lives shadows whisper sand sings whisper wind grain sands sparkle dark sky sea desert stars..... great imagination dear poet.......... thank yu and congratulations for this poem. tony
