I mow our lawn early this morning
Because we will visit our far away friends.
The sun just rises above tree tops
Golden sunshine is clear and spring morning cool.
I drive our lawn mower slowly, to and fro.
Mowing blades blow wet grasses into misty veils.
Oblique sun rays pierce through our evergreen hedge
And cast huge columns of sunshades on our yard.
Giant Indian bean trees line up our horse neck driveway.
They've been bearing many bundles of white flowers.
Last night, many of these flowers fell on this driveway.
Suddenly, our driveway became a "Fairy Lane" of flower carpets.
This Fairy Lane is waiting for my "Fairy Lady" to stroll on.
With flowing hair, flowers smile on her lips as she strolls.

Đường Thiên Thai
Sáng nay cắt cỏ sớm hơn
Chúng tôi sau đó thăm người bạn xa.
Mặt trời vừa quá ngọn cây
Nắng vàng trong sáng, xuân vừa ấm thôi.
Máy đi chầm chậm, ngược xuôi
Giọt sương máy thổi, hơi mờ cỏ xanh.
Nghiêng nghiêng, nắng chiếu rào xanh
Những cột bóng nắng đổ dài trên sân.
Mấy cây đậu cổ sắp hàng
Mùa này bông trắng trên cây chất chồng.
Đêm qua bông trắng trải đường
Bỗng đường cổ ngựa thành đường Thiên Thai.
Đường này chờ bước "tiên" qua
Ngiêng nghiêng maí tóc, hoa cười trên môi.
