Parents Poem by Sari Mavi

Parents

They are the ones who have raised us
- Parentings is a life time job.

For all that our parents do for us,
there is no way of repaying them.

They do not expect anything but love from us,
an acknowledgment to appreciate them:

"Dear Mom and Dad, I am so much of what I learned from you.
You'll be with me like a handprint on my heart."

The love and respect we all owe our parents - our selfless makers,
So be dutiful and kind to them,
Be the best that you can be, and be there for them in their old age.
