Parker Poem by soso khan

Parker

Parker
A name that poisoned a friendship
He tortured my heart with his soft brown eyes
I longed to run my fingers through his silky black hair

It all started when you betrayed me
We made a promise that a guy would never interfere
But in reality you broke that promise
And for breaking it you would soon regret it

You took away my hopes and dreams
So in return I took away your stolen happiness
You never thought I would do it
So it turns out you didn't know me well at all

First I gained his trust
You thought he was happy
But I showed him what happiness could be
He never suspected a thing

It was easy
All I had to do was tell a lil white lie
He dumped you a few hours later
You called me crying and I couldn't help but smile

Parker asked me out a couple days later
I immediately said yes
But after a few dates he wasn't what I thought he would be
It didn't last long

Thats when the guilt kicked in
I couldn't believe what I had done
I hoped you would forgive me
But it turns out Parker was the end of this friendship...
