Parsi Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Parsi

Rating: 5.0

Parsi

Hear song recently
Luckily in Farsi…

Farsi is the Parsi
With P changed, since Tazi
Does not have letter P
Therefore, F replaced it …

Tazi is, means Arab;
They say B for sound P.

Poet's name itself is
Deep and meaningful:
"Angry" and "Rebel"
Or "Qahhar Asi! "
(Of Afghani cities.)

His tongue and the Iran's
As well as Tajikistan's
Is the same, even if:
Called "Dari, " "Tajiki! "

The song is great and
I feel it penetrates
In my soul and skin;
Every time I play…

But I hope it is for
Sharing, and to unite
Not being excess salt
In new or old wound.

It sounds like Pan-Iran
To bridge, break walls;
If any, between hearts.

But never do I want
If it will sharpen knife
To fight and shed blood.

Now, let us build Iran.
