Passed The Purple Parliament Poem by Rich Harney

Passed The Purple Parliament

Past the purple parliament
A sparrow shot the sky
A penny tossed the parapet
And two were in his eye.

Wingless set a falling down
But sure was Fathers hand
Every hair was counted
Lo! the precious man.
