Passion Has To Die Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

Passion Has To Die

No two moments are alike
passion born always
sorrow and joy
jealousy and hatred
anger and fear
lust and love
the glossary of qualities
too big to accommodate
in the paradigm of passion
the poor brain cells
stressed by the action
of our irrational mind
thanks to the beauty of 'change'
that constitutes our life
the passion slowly decays
for some it is long
for some it is short
let us all strive
to have a short passion
for the health of our brain
like the drop of water
in the lotus leaf
passion has to die.....
change is welcome.
