Past Lives Poem by Arno Le Roux

Past Lives

Rating: 3.5

'Past Lives'

Recalling warm kisses of lovers so slow
When mountains were hills covered in snow

When forested valleys summoned to grow
Recalling the end beds, and hours of go...

Recalling a soul mate much like before
Time holding stuck the one you adore

We naked arrived here not knowing the door
Opens a past life to familiar floor

Quietly searching ignoring each day
Tell tale the signs a smell to here stay

The next new body awaits an old pray
A burning warm longing not to go stray

Ageing and wrinkles and searching with grace
Hidden in novels, knotted with lace

Gut feel the clues we follow the trace
Familiar smells and a De-ja-vu space
