Darkness! Surround me,
Let your silence bathe every pore of my body,
Let the breeze pass
Sending quivers through my being.
The trees and shrubs sigh...
For I am filled with grief,
Let the owl screech from your bosom,
The purling waters sing me to sleep.
Let my thoughts be filled
With the lustre of blackness,
O Darkness! come....
Come take me into your bosom
And let me pass away
Without a soul to know and weep.
