Once upon a time there lived a country so free
Everything was peaceful but you can’t see
People came and claimed this land as theirs
So seeing a happy face is very rare
Many lives tortured at this fateful time
Breaking their hearts is indeed a harsh crime
In the Palestinians hearts it will never be fair
Is it fair that in our lives we live without a care?
But Palestine...
You are so fine
Muslims and non-Muslims alike
You left your land you wanted peace
And decided not to fight
We should very well know that the money that we pay
Just might make you dreams of hope fade
But, alas freedom will come and peace will out shine
At where all those children aren’t always fine
I will never know the pain you have suffered and lost
But, I will never just sit down and watch
This story will Inshallah have a happy ending my friend
Then this beautiful country again! ! ! ! ! !
this is a great poem, my bro...i hope the people of palestine find peace and the warmth of home.....i am an activist for peace, justice and change and i hope our voicesre able to wheel positive change in the middle east and other conflict torn zones.....peace! !
