Perfect Crime Poem by Vester Crowley Ix

Perfect Crime

He's dead
With no head
What I've done? ! What I've done? !
He had son
He had a wife
He had such a nice life
What a deed?
What a need?
WHY! WHY! WHY!
I just murdered a man my oh my
His blood on my hands
Wash it off! Sin brands
I must hide the body
There's nobody…NOBODY! !
Take a gurney from nearby
Drive it by the drive by
Drop it down the sewer
Just do it! …Make the problems fewer
Then go back home
Take a shower and rest some
Sleep and dream happy lucid dreams
Don't wake up with screams
Hold your breath and release
Put everything to ease
'I wasn't there…I am not involved
I am innocent…It's not my fault'
Rise to another tomorrow, evolved
And rest all your secrets in a vault
Until they suffocate
And die as bait
Smile when they ask for an alibi
Have a because for every why
'cause you're innocent
Live your life without its scent
Don't break cold sweat when asked
Don't panic when tasked
You're perfection
Live to your crime's satisfaction
With a smile on your face
And innocence in your pace
