Perfected Smile Poem by Nikki Addleton

Perfected Smile

Behind the perfected smile
So many lies are hidden
She shows no emotion
Her hands clasped arms folded
Nodding is all she knows
Evil inside and out

Behind the perfected smile
Eyebrows rissen
Eyes so cold
She never looks at you
Focussed ahead
Hatered is all she sees
The smell of stale smoke
Lifting the precious air

Behind the perfected smile
She hides so many truthes
Ones she shall take to her grave
Ones she shall share with her friend
The closest enemy

Behind the perfected smile
She has the grin of a murderer
Looks frail, but has no fear
Knowing her contacts
She can get away with all

Behind the perfected smile
She never shows remorse
Cares not about her betrayal
Hides her tears well
Will she ever be lonely
Do people know?

She has the perfected smile
All she needs to get through
