Permission Equated With Perdition Poem by Nathan Coppedge

Permission Equated With Perdition

If science fails
If life is off-putting
If I scream at myself
It amounts to pain
Yet just then
There is formed
An insight
Finally, embarrassment
Yet painful
Resentment
Still, symbolism
And conviction
