Persistant Rain Poem by Phil Soar

Persistant Rain

Persistant rain
Dampens the spirit
Soaks the ground
Revitalising the earth
Bringing new life
Where once there was none
Replenishes Lakes
Storm lashes seas
Appears from clouds formed above
High above
Where birds fly
People fly in metal frames
And lightning strikes
Persistant rain
