Petty Break-Up Poem by kwane Lamb

Petty Break-Up

A little bickering goes a long…
Long way…
When either know not what to say…

And damn, that’s not okay…
Petty quarrels‘…
Are really immoral…

Why is there such a thing…
Stopping the heart from a sing…
Songs are good for the soul…

Pettiness is cold…
A benign embrace would do…
That will help see it through…

Not me…Not you…But us…
The two…
Inner feelings must play…

Apart as to sooth the heart…
If not…
One day you shall part…

Bringing…rains from clouds of joy…
A relationship is not a toy…
So please do not be coy…

Attract attention…
Another way…
Remembering that first day…

The flattering…
Bells ringing…
You both…
Are singing…

Stop…look, and listen…
Where is that glisten…
Just a blatant blather…

Would you not rather…
Put pep back into your steps…
Be responsible…
You males and females…

No boss…
No loss…
Share in the cost… to be…
Forever and ever wise…
And free, …
LOOK…
And…
SEE…
