Pillars And Cylinders Poem by The Poet Steussie?

Pillars And Cylinders

We erected this town
We erected this town on pillars and cylinders
Erected this town
We erected this town on pillars and cylinders

Somebody's constantly playing conglomerate competitions
Who cares, they're continually altering business labels
We just want to rave now, somebody took the platform
They call us negligent, mark us off the sheet

Marconi performs the mambo, take note to the transistor
Don't you hark back to?
We erected this town
We erected this town on pillars and cylinders
