Pipe Dreams Poem by David Wood

Pipe Dreams

Rating: 5.0

Crypto has crashed, and investors
Are feeling the hurt and pain
They all bought far too much
And won't buy any more again.

It seems the same sad old story,
When will they all ever learn,
All wanting to get abundantly rich
With money they didn't have to burn.

Some have lost all they have and
Are left with an almighty bruise
They ignored basic advice ‘cos they
Invested more they could afford to lose.

So, what is the moral of this story?
There are no quick get rich schemes
When we're in such a volatile market
As they'll all end up as big pipe dreams.
