Piyush Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Piyush

Piyush

Nothing has, will ever
-bring me pleasure
-as much as encounter;
-hearing the others.

Love meeting the people
-known-unknown; discover.

They can be my blood
-as can have come from
-other sides of oceans;
-worlds apart…

I love them, regardless
-see them all, in oneness!
-laugh at me and with them
-when things sound strange.

Met a man, named Piush, Indian.
-A bell rang in my head, in Russian:
- (пьющий, Drinker, p'yushchiy.)

In thought I, wore smile
- "Can tell me its meaning? "
-I questioned, wondering…

Unsure, he consulted
-explained: "Is against poison! "

Quiet I looked but felt puzzled
- "Sanskrit it can be…"
-many lines I drew, making web,
-leaped in time and borders.

Nosh-daru and pad-zahr
- (The two words in Persian)
-Antidote or the Anti-Toxin…

Excited, exalted and pleased
-I felt me in Trance, Ecstasy!
-a rainbow in sky, after rain.
