Playing With My Sentiment Poem by Rosie Bourget

Playing With My Sentiment

Rating: 4.8

What a torment!
I wanted to love you with my soul
But you chose to play with my sentiment
As if it was an instrument
Taking me for a fool
Thinking you're cool
Turning me around like a yo-yo
Lying to me like there is no tomorrow
Now that I'm through with you
I have the courage to say to you
Meeting you
Of course,
Was both, a blessing and a curse.

An incisive write. Hard hitting lines that depict betrayal. Yes, a great woman like you does not deserve a man who lives with lies. Leaving him is a wise decision. A well thought out write very well conveyed.
