Pleasant Land Poem by Tom Allport

Pleasant Land

Rating: 4.5

Once upon a time
In England's green
And pleasant land
Most men and woman
Were mere common slaves
But how times have changed
Now the shoe
Is on the t'other foot
The Royals actually
Serve the people
Or so they lead
Us to believe.
