Poetic Artistry Poem by Laquory Jones

Poetic Artistry

Sometimes things hits you like an cancer people
Look at me as if I have all the answers
I wish I did so I could tell you how to live
Then we could look back at all the stuff that
We ever did when we were kids we
Only had to pretend life had no ends
All I could see were fixtures of me
The person I had hoped to one day be
The guy who could figure out his destiny
If only he could make others believe
If only he too could achieve

Do you see what I see
Richie what do you see
I see a soul never at ease
Peace's a constant tease
Rushed oceans never ceasing
Hearts pounding forever beating
As I try to stop words from
Leaving legends are forever
Deceasing i'm in search of what
I'm needing but I don't know what
That is yet the veins constricts
Against my conscience sorry
If it sounds like an ultra complex
Perhaps I'm coming on quick
To leave people transfixed
Did I really make you anxious
From these images that I've painted

Do you ever get these days when
You're feeling time-less wondering
Where's all your time's spent
There has been instances when
I'm floating through space and time
And thoughts are just dancing it's
As if life's putting me in trances
And I can't quite explain it it's like
Time and Space themselves went
Flashing in the pans as I cupped
Fate with both hands I could
Never quite understand life and
It's plans I'm wrapped in
It's threshold instant jolts
On the spot electric volts
Centered locked melted pots
Voltage Shocks are the
Building blocks of life anew
I closed my eyes and tis was true.
