Poetic Water Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Poetic Water

Poetic water

Put yourself in kitchen
(Once again)
A pot of two litters
Black in, has water
Heat is on

First its floor
Then the walls
Come bubbles
First step of a child
With fear and cautious

Then one, two
Later more
More and more
These bubbles
Exodus, like Bible

Cross the Nile
You can see
The roaring
The rolling
Here is the boiling

Everything upside down
So simple
And so neat
Yet still
Poetic
