Poetry As A Kind Of Consolation Shines

Poetry as a kind of consolation shines
I love you tiny universe of mine
And healing springs beneath the surface
May you find
Or sipping fresh blue waters from the wells
You happen upon in my still flowery dells
Let bramble and berry grow together
In mild and happy pastoral weather
Take respite from the teeming world
Sad news, and whatever sorrow soars
Into the radiant heavenly light
Becomes in poetry oh so bright
