Poetry to you can be written with ease.
Knowing that it is only intended to please,
It'll not cause offence,
Nor will the words do you harm,
They should delight you, and make you calm.
My thoughts they will wander
About how charming you'll be,
When it's time for our meeting,
But, when, will that be?
I am not impatient, but I'll hope it be soon
Some time in the near future,
Before the next New Moon.
So pick up the phone Dear,
Make that call now,
I promise to be gentle,
And we can discuss how,
You'll be when you're with me,
On our first date,
Make that call now,
Before it's too late.
