Poison Poem by BlacknessRose ...

Poison

He's gone and yet still here
Feeding his hunger off my fear
Slanted eyes staring at my own
Even though I'm all alone
Venom coming in like a flood
He's the poison in my blood
Anger coursing throughout my veins
Never disappears like the pain
Sitting in a room dimly lit
These tears of sorrow just won't quit
He sits and stares just watching me
My every move he can see
His venom spreads throughout my cells
As he ignores my painful yells
This pain is so immense
And my body is so tense
Though he's not around here anymore
Two weeks back, walked out that door
I sat there doing nothing
All the while he was yelling
So all alone in this room I sit
His poison spreads bit by bit
My eyes grow darkly dim
As I become just like him

Wow. that has left me speechless... I love the ending. I also love how the poem builds up...
