Poison Poem by Matt Burgett

I breathe in the air
And I take it all in deep
All the air is poison
And it's all mine to keep

Because It is meant as poison
And It is meant to kill
It will likely hurt me
And make me seriously ill

But enough of it I have
Not to take out only me
There is a major threat
So vacate to the sea

For 5 days it will take
And up to 10 it will last
For all the poison to be gone
For all of it to pass

After all of that
There won't be but a trace
It will be safe for you
To return back to this place

And it will clear the sky
So you can see the sun
All because of me
And my simple poison
