The feelings curse through you,
Feeling stronger, dominant, more true,
Your mind feels groggy and your body tight,
As you wish and pray for a dark, restful night,

Your head aching, heart pounding,
Your body relaxing, your eyes closing,
Time for a rest, time for some sleep,
As you block your mind and surrender deep,

The water surrounds you, takes your doubt,
As your thoughts come quick, you release a shout,
The last of your will disappears with the pain,
As you allow the poison to take you away again.
