Polar Vortex, You Say Poem by Tyrone Gayle

Polar Vortex, You Say

Outside is abnormally cold and I cannot take it anymore,
As such I am standing awkwardly in a women's clothing store,

A matter of fact, I am completely clueless when I will be out,
So I will just get comfy and ponder upon this Shakespearean quote:

'Now is the winter of our discontent'

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem tells the a short story of the polar vortex that happened in early January on the east coast. I took shelter in a Rainbow, a women's clothing store in Brooklyn. As young man fresh from a tropical island, this was utter torture on my body. So can you blame me?

Well, it's obvious to me now that you are not a fan of cold and winter! Aww...but what about walking in a snowstorm with the world all hush hush around you? You have to love that! ? ! ? ! ? ! ?
