Pontificate Poem by Franklin J. Warren

Pontificate

If I can pontificate,
And ponder my fate,
Will I live another day,
Or Specter Death come my way?

The world I now see,
Has very little mentality,
The stupidity of it all,
And ignorance that does appall!

Things I know and try to tell,
Doesn't stick, so what the hell?
Why should I even try,
They will find out bye and bye!

Spinning wheels need traction,
If not there's no action,
Sort of reminds of regime in today,
Where ignorance and stupidity holds sway!
