Porky's Drive Through. Poem by Rebecca Navarre

Porky's Drive Through.

As a treat, my family loved to eat, at Porky's.
It was a little bit of a drive. But it was, worth
the ride. Ordering onion rings, chicken, and fries.
Hamburgers and coleslaw on the side. Every one went
to bed with a contented sigh... Dad smiling, knowing
everyone at last...was satisfied!

Family bliss! II remember my dad coming home from horse racing on a Saturday, with a brown-paper bag full of chocolates and sweets. We knew if he'd won or lost depending on the size of the bag.
