Poverty
Never existed during creation
Yet it has existed for many years

During the ‘Barter' system
There was Poverty

Even with the introduction of money
Poverty hovered round us

Gold, Diamond, Bauxite
Increased abundantly
Yet, poverty increased

Abundance of knowledge existed
In the twenty-first century
Yet, poverty survived

In the millennium
Technology increased the search for money
Nevertheless, poverty is everywhere

Povertyknows no bound
Rich or poor countries
People sleep on the streets
People go hungry
Poverty!
