Prairie Fire Poem by smol mad rad cat

Prairie Fire

The prairie fire roars and flickers,
Moving faster than the fastest horse,
Moving faster than the wind.

Forever dancing, always prancing,
Burning grass and brush alike.

Never stopping, leaping high,
Reaching for the darkening sky.

Burning everything in it's path,
Animals run from the fire's wrath.

The fire burns on, leaving behind
A smoldering gray plain.
