Predilection Poem by Ewen A Morrison

Predilection

Having predilections, and who doesn't?
Art-related websites often would visit;
Earlier years, with 'ewenart' username,
I love painting... Viewing's the same.

My family's knowing, sharing feelings,
We hear said, as darling Keira sings:
Granddaughter says: 'I'm an artist',
Mispronounced, on a 'Poetcher' list!

Happy being 'GP' and 'Poetcher' credo,
First grandson, and lovely sister too;
Emerged from grandchildren like Dylan,
Childhood's brief and too short a span.

Dylan's Primary schooling, like yesterday,
'I'm in High school', our Keira might say;
Wee one himself, and now a grown man;
For loving affection? Yes... I'm your man!
