One day we will look back, back into time at ourselves
At what we have left behind in this world, to this world
What we have contributed, the footprints we have left
Left in sands of time for others to track back to us
Share the smiles we provided, endure the pain we caused,
Feel the love we spread around and the hate we grew inside us
Know the ones whom we cared for and the ones we ignored
Learn the happiness we enjoyed and the regrets we hid in ourselves
All will be accounted for in this lifetime, for good and for worse
Before we pass away into history, the day will come soon my friend
When we will be condemned by generations to come after us
For the world we left behind for them to live, struggle and die in
Fear not, for we shall not be condemned, there is still time left for us
Time to leave behind a legacy, a legacy of love, hope and dreams
For the future to follow after us to able to dream, aspire and achieve
In order to build a better tomorrow when the future can enjoy its present
