The flames are burning
And their colour is red
I feel glad as for a moment, sadness has vanished
My stress has vanished, with the burning flames of love.
Pleasure, I feel in my dreams when I imagine being in love
How can god make someone so beautiful?
When I look at you, my desires even increase
As then I feel like loving you in my dreams
Burning flames of love begin to increase.
Can a girl like her ever be mine, I asked myself
Since, I would love her for rest of my life
By making sure that she is always smiling.
Love, I dream of
Sadly, I have nobody like her anymore
Desires, have faded
Fire of love, is just beginning to die a slow death
Love me, I slowly whisper in the ears of my dream girl
Though, she replied I can never be yours
As I am a princess and you are just no match for me.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Sometimes the one you love just never becomes yours. It is better to accept that reality since otherwise the thought of unfulfilled love will continue to haunt.

poet Richard Lovelace

Tell me not (Sweet) I am unkind,
That from the nunnery
