all great escapes
are mind plans
planning laborious
meticulous details
microscopic worry
or chance opportunities
served on silver plate
spur of moment seized
are you ready
bold enough
to go for it
courage
stupidity
one or both rules
an amazing tale of escape
from a cell from prison walls
from cell to promise of freedom well
or mind cell constant fear thought
chance risk leaping into love fear
love sought dreamed ardently desired
locked cell door was fear damnation cell
mind pauses heart leaps courage crosses threshold
Without your poem this poem would not exist, nor would the poem' Civilians Children Die In Modern Wars' inspired by your poem ''The Heart Crying Out'. So I hope you like it also?
To Richard my friend, your poem was the inspiration, and you are very welcome; the pleasure and joy in writing 'Prison Walls Or Love Freedom Risk Taken' was mine, I might have written with a theme of love and fear being a prison before, but your poem prompted a clarification of the idea which was a joy to write.
Terence, I am humbled and honoured. So happy that my poem had inspired you to write this amazing poem. Much gratitude!
your most welcome Richard, looks like another might be coming tomorrow, as I work through my present poems to write
A prison escape narrative is a compelling way to talk about daring to love. A love narrative is a compelling way to talk about escaping from self-confinement. Love is the driving force behind our choice of freedom. The wording of this poem is taut and well-crafted.

In revisiting this poem, I see how amazingly well it is written. Terry, sincere thanks for the dedication.
