Professor Roberts came from the streets.
He didn't know the meaning of meek.
He believed that strong minds is what everyone should seek.
Professor Roberts didn't let any of his students slack.
He put enough work on them.
That could break their backs.
But all of his students became very tough.
And ready to meet life's challenges.
When the going got rough.

But all of his students became very tough. And ready to meet life's challenges. I pointed these lines. Professor Roberts puts me in m ind of one of my favourite films, Stand and Deliver, which is based on a true story. It is about a dedicated teacher who transforms failing barrio kids into brilliant superstars who can grasp & perform calculus! For those who weren't lucky enough to see it, this inspirational film can probably be found on You Tube now. Good writing, Lamar!
