Profound Sadness Poem by Arno Le Roux

Profound Sadness

When time serves missing a parent a lover or a child

Sucked from a world adorned with beauty but wild

Down deep into the hell of sadness and agony we dwell

Life's unfairness drags mercilessly down dark well

Quicksand thick pulling to darker deeper strife

Sand glueing us momentarily away form this life

Of loved ones left are memories' photos we hold

Sorrow's weight gravitates us into biting bitter cold
