Provoked Poem by Singleton M. Tate

Provoked

Yes... at last
No more hidden garb
The fire of your tongue
Burns the veins of the 'Gifted One'

Send more arrows...
Make desolate the 'Wisdom of Life'
Disdained souls of jealousy and strife
Tell a tale of deceit... dim all 'Light'

Provoked... to transcend
'Alas to stride upon the wind
Rain upon my spirit... Heaven empower
'Perspicacity of Words' that none can devour

Master send peace
Deliver all... Let Thy Greatness speak
Map out each 'Course of Purpose', I pray
So the enemies won't lead anyone else astray...
