Queen And I Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Queen And I

Queen and I

Head eastbound
There you are golden, round.

You play show and hide
-in times hair hang and fall
-in times face mask or shine.

I approach, throbs heart
You climb to sky
-add to height.

To catch you open arms
-open wide
-I dream
-you are mine.

You escape and go far
-skid, run side to side.

I speed
-try hard and try and try
Far you are.

Broken
-I cry and cry and cry
It is dark
-need your light
-I thrive head forward.

Damn clouds come forward
That is why I lose sight.

All in vain
You are moon
What am I?
