Question-Answers Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Question-Answers

Risking everything-
For the life is short
And the joy is rare
When-
Love isn't an answer
But, a frown of anger-
To age-old ailing parents
In order to please others.
Where, love isn't a reason
For the seniors as such
To tolerate disrespect
From younger generation.

Good sense does realize
Honesty and trust
Warmth and respect
Must exit in liaison
Between-
Children and parents.

Repeated wrong doings
Unrated ill-treatment
Certainly, not a mistake
But, just behaviour
Out of determination
And no one understands it
Until, it happens to someone.

Deadwood's called heartless
Once worried and cared
About too much-
That thou'st must know
Silence isn't emptiness
It carries a series-
Series of question-answers.
