Quietly Too Loud Poem by Travis Peterson

Quietly Too Loud

You have to see, all this
Controversie and all these lies,
All the sorrow and all the pain
That's in this world,
Because maybe, maybe then
You'd see me,
Just look close
Don't be scared,
Close your eyes and I'll be there,
Leave me alone,
But please don't leave,
Why can't you see?
Please don't open you eyes,
I'm afraid, but I'm not suprised,
I'm alone, but you're right here
Why can't I move?
Why can't I just stand still?
It's a scary place
Especially when you alone,
But I'll be here when no one's home
Just leave me alone
