R.I.P. Mr. Levy Poem by Bryan Corbett

i just recently
discovered
          the poet:
                  d.a. levy

which is sad
because we both
                  grew up
in roughly
      the same
          neighborhood
      but about
25 years
                            apart

he is not
an easy read,
i readily admit

& maybe his words
      have just a little bit more
              meaning for me, based
                      solely on geography,
& not on any other
      false sense of myself
  that you might wish to
accuse me of
              i assure you

&, i know most of you
      just won't bother
  with his quite lengthy

poems.   

                &
        that's okay
    but, i beg of you
  to at least read his
    Wikipedia page...


...that, my friend
            was/is
                a
