Rain

When it's raining no one asks the sky if it's alright
No one gently chides it and tells it to be bright
When it's grey and cloudy no one says the sky is just an attention hog
Not evenwhen everything becomes consumed in fog
No one takes it personally when lightning strikes and thunder rolls

But when the rain dries and the sun burns with no relief
Everyone shares the sky's grief
