Rain Drops Poem by Jason Murak

Rain Drops

Your tears are like rain drops
falling on my shoulder
Id like to use an umbrella of comfort to cover you
We walk, stepping on our shadows
or stepping, on the darkness of the wrong doing I did
When it rained for us, I stayed outside
I didnt cower to the shelter of my mind
I endured, and was rewarded
from storm clouds to the sunniest of days
Now your eyes pour out sunny rays
I was rewarded
with you
