You saw through me
Like a mirror,
Yet you were so blind,
Let scars of ego fade away
Shining light on the kind.
You celebrated kinship,
You celebrated birth,
You drank wine and danced
To the music of death,
The universe glanced.
Glued to your demons
In disguise of faith,
Empires burned.
Ages passed,
Spiteful edges got round.
So much for equality.
The rightful daughter
The lawful son,
Yearned and yearned for years
To be the soulful one.
Dry tears,
Sealed lips,
Symbolized mankind.
Few needed no verdict,
They had their own mind.
Rising from the ashes,
As new as a phoenix,
Bathed in pure love,
Abolishing fumes of shame,
I see a rainbowed dove.
