Rationale Poem by Katherine Graven

Rationale

Rating: 5.0

The desire of life is becoming pleasantly objectionable
As destiny takes satisfaction and dominates life’s passage
The fear of the unknown drama is mysteriously unfolding
Into a magical realm of an uncertain reality

Life is one of contradictions of uncontrolled fair-tales
Which forever unfolds into the mind’s debates of realness
Only for one to gather faded thoughts of the forgotten
So one can get some understanding of where life is disappearing.

Mind’s confused reasons are forever changing directions
Perpetually sending you back into the sphere that has yet to be unbroken.
For reassured words of manipulation are only spoken in confusion
Turns out to only influence life’s wonders and the reasons to survive.

All the while
Thinking about taking deaths short cut or tackling the passage of life’s endurance
Searching for the reasons for life’s distant echoes of immortality.
The unknown is what controls us into searching for life’s rationale.
Just to find in the climax of life’s journey that there is none…

There is only the reality of the obscured journey of death to partake in.…

So we survive in life to succumb into the mystery of death …

Hence

The reason for living is so we die.
